Pie Eating and Blue Ribbons near Bellerose

The 32nd Annual Queens County Fair represents tons of fun with activities for the whole family. The fair takes place at the Queens County Farm Museum and will attract visitors from neighboring communities such as Long Island, Bellerose, and Fairport.

The fair is considered one of the most popular events in the area each year. The traditional format includes blue ribbon livestock and produce competitions. Other competitions include home-made arts and crafts.

Fun activities will take place, such as pie-eating contests. Other events include corn husking, pig racing, and hayrides. Big apple Circus To-Go will be onsite to entertain children of all ages. Kids can event stop by the ConEdison Ecology booth and adopt a special worm for the home composting bin.

For those striving for a blue ribbon, there are many opportunities to compete. Canning, baking, floral arrangements, and art events will all be part of the competition. There is a wide range of activities to appeal to everyone.

Banner printing is a normal request for print companies for fairs and festivals. The banners are used for signage throughout the venue. Using heavy vinyl material, they can have the lettering and graphics printed directly on the banner.

The Queens County Fair will take place on September 20 and 21 from 11:00 am. – 6:00 pm Adult admission is $9.00, although children 12 and under are $5.00. The admission does not include certain activities such as carnival rides and games.
