Tree lighting about to go off with a bang
November 28, 2012 by Sarah
The ‘Holiday Tree Lighting and Fireworks’ celebration is being brought to the local people by the Township of Wall with the cooperation of the Girl Scouts from the Jersey Shore. This entertaining evening is a time for families to come together and kick of the holiday season with bright lights and fun festive activities.
This evening event has many things happening for the entire family, including listening to some much-loved Christmas carols, a dance performance by the Dance Theatre Project, refreshments including coffee, cocoa, and cookies, and, of course, a visit with Santa.
The Caroling, Tree Lighting, and Fireworks will be held in the Municipal Building’s courtyard, while all other activities will be hosted in Municipal Building’s lower level. During this event and time of giving, the Girl Scouts will be collecting food items to benefit the Manasquan Food Pantry, so it is an ideal chance to come out and enjoy the festivities while helping out a great cause. At this time of year, there are many families that need assistance and this is a great way to show children what sharing and caring is about.
Poster printing and digital flyer printing were most likely used to promote this festive annual event to residents of this community and the surrounding regions. Admission is free, although a non-perishable food donation is requested.
The Holiday Tree Lighting and Fireworks celebration is being held on Friday, December 7, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Township of Wall Municipal Building located at 2700 Allaire Road in Wall Township, New Jersey.
