Holiday train to call in at Wall Township
December 20, 2013 by Max
The Holiday Train Spectacular Fundraiser is a fundraising initiative by the Garden State Central Model Railroad Club to assist with collecting unwrapped toys for the ‘Toys for Tots’ program, and is an a great opportunity for families to enjoy Christmas cheer while helping out those in need. Poster printing and other printing services might have been chosen by the club to spread the word to people in the area.
At this special holiday time of the year, the Garden State Model Railroad Club invites people to come out and watch Christmas model trains travel the tracks with their seasonal layouts and bright displays. Children will be able to visit with Santa and his animated reindeer and provide him a list of their wants and wishes.
The club reminds people that donations of toys are always welcome, as the toy could be the only one a child receives this year. For 2013, the group is out to set a record for the number of toys collected, so ask people to pitch in for this worthy cause. The club reminds parents to bring their camera to get a great shot of their children with Santa.
The cost to attend is $5 per adult or one unwrapped Christmas gift, and $1 per child. Money raised will be used to purchase toys.
The Holiday Train Spectacular will be happening both tomorrow and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the InfoAge Science Center in Wall Township, New Jersey. To learn more about this event, visit the Gardens at Central website.
