Uniqlo to open in NJ mall

A Japanese retail chain is set to open a store in New Jersey this fall. The brand Uniqlo has already taken Manhattan by storm and hopes to do the same in NJ. The new store will be located at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus.

The store sells high-quality casual clothes at reasonable prices. It is well known for its cashmere sweaters which can be purchased in numerous colors. Fans of the store have dubbed it the “Gap of Japan.”

Experts believe that the Uniqlo store is something of a leasing coup for the mall. As the brand is quickly gaining a large following, it is likely to draw customers into the mall. In fact, some consumers may come all the way from towns like Turnersville to get their hands on some Uniqlo clothing.

Opening a new store is always an exciting endeavor but also a risk, especially if a brand is trying out a new market. Managers of this store will need to ensure that it is successful, as failing to do so could result in plans for future US stores to be put on the back burner. One of the easiest ways for the store to get customers in the door is to launch a marketing campaign. The store can use printing services to make up flyers promoting its opening day. These will be especially successful if the store has an opening sale. Once the flyers have been handed out, the store can expect to see an increase in foot traffic and sales.
