Painting class sure to draw in the public

February 21, 2013 by

An artistic way to see in the weekend will be offered through the ‘Drawing and Painting Class’, providing students with two full hours to work on a project of their choice.

During the class, there will be one-on-one guidance and instruction, as well as hints and tips on various compositions, techniques, and values used to create the perfect painting. Students are required to bring their own supplies and it might be a good opportunity for those involved with design and print companies to unleash their creative sides.

Students will be able to work at their own pace, pick their own projects, and create a work of art using the medium of their choice. Expert instruction is available in all mediums, including pastel, colored pencil, charcoal, graphite, acrylic, and oil painting. Students can begin a new project in this class or continue on with a project they have already started.

The course is suitable for teenagers and adults and is a great way for older children and parents to work together on a wonderful project. Students can continue the projects they begin at classes that follow this course.

The cost to attend this instructional class is $15 per person and all are welcome. The Drawing and Painting Class will be held this Friday, February 22, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Center for the Arts located at 123 S. Elmwood Road in Marlton, New Jersey, a short drive from Turnersville, New Jersey. To sign up for the class, please visit the Center for the Arts website or call during normal business hours.
