Ceremony to light up December
November 28, 2012 by Sarah
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is just over a week away and will be a great way to kick off the holiday season and prepare for the busy days ahead. This fun family event will be enjoyed by one and all, as Christmas comes closer and Mr. and Mrs. Claus join the celebration to help get the tree lights sparkling.
This is one of the busiest times of the year – not least for print companies who are usually called upon to provide banner printing services in the run up to these events – with everyone rushing around to get last minute things ready for the holiday season. There can be few better ways to spend some quality time together with the children, then by bringing them down to see the tree lights come to life and have a visit with Santa.
During this festive event, the Washington Township High School Choir will be on hand to share some of the season’s most loved songs with the audience, as they await the arrival of St. Nick. Remember to bring a wish list and a camera, so that the kids can have their picture taken with Santa. Frosty the Snowman is rumored to be making an appearance as well, plus there will be coffee, cocoa, and yummy cookies for all. This year, the 20-foot Christmas tree will be twinkling tall at the end of the festivities.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend. The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be happening on Friday, December 7 (or December 8 if it rains), starting at 7:00 pm at the Washington Lake Park Amphitheater located at 626 Huffville Cross Keys Road in Sewell, New Jersey, just a short drive from Turnersville.
