Acoustic feel to April’s opener at the library

March 30, 2014 by

On the first Wednesday of April a special “acoustic” evening is planned and features local entertainer and musician, Domenick Carino.

Each month, the local library hosts an ‘Open Mic Night Series’ on the first Wednesday, which features a new selection of musicians and entertainers that are appropriate for the entire family. All ages are welcome to come and share in the songs and laugh along with the comedians and artisans.

The library may have found that poster printing and flyer printing worked well to notify people in this community and the surrounding regions about the entertainers at each month’s event.

On this evening, there will be a group of new (as well as experienced) musicians, spoken word artisans, and comedians invited to come on stage and present their special type of entertainment. Families will enjoy a sing-along with the entertainers and will be encouraged to participate in the performances. Anyone wishing to perform on this evening is encouraged to register starting at 6:30 pm at the library.

This is a free family event, which will be taking place on Wednesday, April 2, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Toms River Branch at 101 Washington Street. For additional information about the offering, please visit the Branch’s website or call the library at 732-349-6200 during normal hours.
