Somerville set for quite a spectacle
May 29, 2013 by Mark
The Somerville Spring Spectacular is being hosted by the Somerville Business and Professional Association next month, and will feature more than 200 vendors – no doubt armed with some digital business cards – selling a selection of art, antiques, and crafts.
This event should make for a great day out for the entire family, as there will be food and many other activities to suit all ages, as well as music.
As part of the Somerville Spring Spectacular, children will enjoy a number of activities and everyone can enjoy the all-day entertainment provided by various groups. When the event comes round, the downtown Somerville core is transformed into a festive marketplace, so guests can enjoy a super full day of shopping pleasure, delicious foods, and the children’s Kid Zone. The event features more than a mile of vendors lined up and down Main Street, and this is the 27th year this event has taken place.
Families are reminded that this is an outdoor ‘rain or shine’ street fair, and everyone should dress for the weather and bring a camera to take some great pictures.
Admission and parking for this event is free to all and everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the fun. The Somerville Spring Spectacular will be occurring on Sunday, June 9 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Main Street in downtown Somerville, New Jersey.
