Reasons to raise a glass this weekend

January 25, 2013 by

Tempting all local wine connoisseurs, ‘La Nuit des Vins’ – or ‘Night of Wines’ – is a wine-sampling event that features wines from around the world. The 5th Annual La Nuit des Vins is being presented by the Spartan Club at Immaculata High School tomorrow.

During this event, which has no doubt made use of local print services to promote itself, guests will be able to sample renowned wines from vineyards around the globe, as well as a selection of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres. There will be a buffet with delicious dishes, as well as a pasta station and carving station.

After the meal, guests should remember to stop by and enjoy some of the sumptuous dessert dishes being offered. During this dining and tasting experience, there will be a 50/50 raffle, a basket raffle, and a silent auction with proceeds benefiting classroom and technology upgrades at Immaculata High School. Throughout the event, live music and a cash bar will be available, especially for those who do not enjoy wine. Picture ID must be shown for all alcohol beverages.

The cost for this wine tasting evening is $65 per person, or $75 per person if tickets are purchased at the door. The La Nuit des Vins will take place tomorrow, January 26, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Bridgewater Manor located at 1251 Route 202-206 in Bridgewater, New Jersey, a short drive from Somerville. For tickets, please visit the Immaculata High School website.
