New Jersey performance has Claus to celebrate

November 29, 2013 by

‘Yes, Virginia….There is a Santa Claus’ is being showcased by the Somerset Valley Players just in time for the Christmas season, and is a story sure to be enjoyed by everyone in the family, no matter what their ages. Brochure and flyer printing might have been used to share the show information with people in this area.

In this classic story, people will enjoy meeting Virginia, who is a young girl that is skeptical about Christmas and Santa Claus. The story is set in New York City in 1987, and sparks the flames of the Christmas spirit to ignite a timeless and featured editorial that raises the spirits of a determined, hardworking immigrant family and encourages them to believe in the American dream, while renewing the faith of a truly hardened, hardcore newspaper reporter seeking redemption and trying to escape personal adversity. The show is designed to lighten the hearts of its viewers and have them leaving on a high note this Christmas season.

Tickets for this show cost $18 for adults and $16 for students and seniors, while parking is free. It will be performed on weekends from Friday, December 6 until Sunday, December 22 at 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 pm on Sundays. The venue is the Somerset Valley Players located at 689 Amwell Road, Route 514, in Hillsborough, New Jersey, just down the road from Somerville.
