Job Seekers Excited About Secaucus Dinosaur Park

April 20, 2012 by

While many people are excited about the dinosaur park opening in Secaucus, some are pleased that it will bring 135 new jobs to the area. Due to tough economic times, many people are looking for second jobs and part-time work to supplement their current incomes. Those who have been out of work for a long time are also interested in the positions that are opening up.

The roles on offer include entertainers, security, maintenance and retail positions. Due to the the fact they are seasonal roles and pay minimum wage, many expected students to apply for work. However, as many people are now out of work some of the applicants were experienced professionals simply looking for a way to pay the bills.

The park has decided to hire en masse. They recently held a job fair for roles that did require employees to perform for visitors. Auditions for performance roles will be held n the next few weeks. Job seekers who need to find work straight away may want to consider reworking their resume to fit the role they are applying for. Those without a printer can use printing services to print out their resume. Job seekers could print out several copies of their resume and send it to other companies which have similar vacancies. It is also worthwhile sending a resume to local employment agencies. If the staff at the agency have a role the job seeker is suitable for, they will contact them and arrange an interview. The more vacancies a job seeker applies for, the more likely they are to get a job quickly.
