Northvale all set for October parade
September 19, 2013 by Max
The Columbus Day celebration kicks off again in a few weeks, with the Columbus Day Parade providing families with a great opportunity to come out and enjoy some fun. No doubt poster and banner printing companies will have had a hand in promoting this exciting one-day event to people in this community and the surrounding areas.
This year, the parade will assemble at the Jefferson Elementary School located at 441 Tappan Road in Northvale, and will then will proceed down Tappan Road travelling through Northvale’s Historic Tappan area until it reaches the Masonic Park Grounds. Once the parade has arrived at this location, people will have the opportunity to enjoy a number of attractions, including children’s games, vendors, and food.
Towards the end of the celebration, guests will be able to enjoy some lively music at the Battle of the Bands Competition, and see some classic and antique vehicles of all makes and models at the Fantastic Car Show. The festival will take place regardless of weather, so guests are asked to dress appropriately.
This is a free event and everyone is invited to attend and enjoy a fun-filled day. The Columbus Day celebration will be happening on Sunday, October 13, starting with the parade at 12:00 pm, at the Masonic Park Grounds located at 89 Western Highway in Northvale, New Jersey.
