Wine festival coming to Lakewood

The 2nd annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival will be held on June 2 – 3 at First Energy Park in Lakewood. The festival features wine-tasting, live music acts, craft, food, and vendors. There will also be a play area for children.

Attendees who book in advance will only be charged $15 per ticket. Those who book on the day will have to pay $20 for their ticket. Designated drivers and attendees under the age of 21 are eligible for free entrance.

People who attend the event can expect to spend a few hours there. In fact, organizers recommend that attendees bring lawn chairs so that they can sit down and enjoy the music available on both days. The Saturday will feature funk music, while the Sunday has more of a blues and soul feel to it. Attendees will be able purchase the wine they sample in individual bottles or cases.

In order to be successful, events like this need to have a high attendance rate. This makes it worthwhile for wine vendors to take the time to set up a stall at the festival. If the event does not have enough attendees, the vendors will obviously not make as much profit as expected.

One of the easiest ways to promote a festival is to use printing services to start printing flyers. These flyers can be posted to local residents. As wine fans are willing to travel to get their favorite brands, organizers may also want to consider sending flyers to residents of other nearby townships such as North Arlington.
