Train ride on track once more
March 23, 2013 by James
The time has come once again for the Easter Bunny to make an appearance in the area and for all children to have fun searching for the colorful Easter Eggs hidden around the grounds.
The ‘Easter Bunny Train’ will be making its way to the Bunny Patch, where everyone gets off to begin the great ‘Easter Egg Hunt’. Poster printing and flyer printing may have promoted this special train ride to families in this region.
This railroad ride is a living and operating museum, as all rides take place on the state’s last functioning steam locomotive. Children will board the Easter Bunny Train and be entertained throughout the ride. The entertainment includes roaming hobos playing banjos, a renowned and much loved juggler, and a visit with Mr. Bunny himslef.
As the train chugs along, scenic vistas and panoramic views along the Delaware River will be breathtaking. Once arriving at the Bunny Patch, everyone will get off and the children join in the colorful Easter egg hunt. Parents are reminded to bring cameras and get some great snaps of the children collecting the eggs and visiting with the bunny. Parking is across from the ticket booth at the station.
This cost for this train trip is $17 per adult and $9 per child. The ride will be happening today, tomorrow, and next Saturday, March 30, leaving four times each day at 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, and 3:30 pm from The Phillipsburg Station located at 99 Elizabeth Street in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, just down the road from North Arlington.
