Smokin’ Hot Barbeque about to raise the heat

November 22, 2012 by

An exciting Montclair Art Museum (MAM) ‘Smokin’ Hot Barbeque fundraiser’ is about to complement the Georgia O’Keefee exhibition located in New Mexico. All the savory southwestern foods are provided by Ruthie’s BBQ & Pizza, while the cocktails and margaritas are by Egan & Sons. There are two DJ’s, Russ Borris and Darren DeVivo – both courtesy of WFUV 90.7 FM.

This fundraising event requires country denim and brazen boots. At this event, guests will be able to chow down on some smoking good barbeque while enjoying a medley of the South West’s favorite cuisine, not to mention some tasty cocktails and mixes.

After eating, visitors can kick up their heels to some fantastic country music and enjoy a great evening. The chair for this fundraiser is Gretchen Prater, although she had assistance from an entire committee. Guests must be 21 to attend and ID must be presented. A 10% discount is available for members and all proceeds will go to benefit the MAM.

Poster printing, flyer printing, and other printing services may have been used to advertise and promote this fundraising initiative to people in this community and the surrounding regions. Tickets cost $100 for non-members and $75 for members.

The Smokin’ Hot Barbeque is sure to be a winter warmer and is being held on Friday, November 30 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, New Jersey, four miles from North Arlington. To purchase tickets, or learn more, please visit the Montclair Art Museum website or call 973-746-5555.
