Morning TV icon Joan Lunden shows off eco cooking product
September 24, 2012 by Mark
Residents of New Arlington and area are being given the opportunity to take part in a cooking demonstration, autograph signing, and tasting event with award-winning TV host and journalist Joan Lunden.
As host of the ABC show ‘Good Morning America’, Lunden spent two decades with the station educating and informing families about various happenings around the world. Today, after raising seven children and enjoying a healthy lifestyle, she has discovered a greener, non-stick brand of cookware that now carries her name. The eco-friendly cookware brand is called ‘Twiztt’ and contains a safe ceramic coating, offering multi-functional cookware with a ‘twist’. This is a scheduled workshop by Chef Central.
For anybody in the local vicinity who has a love of the kitchen, this live demonstration and tasting is sure to provide food for thought, as well as alternatives to today’s standard cookware. Lunden will also be available for autographing after the demonstration and tasting.
Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this eco-friendly event to residents in the community, as well as surrounding area. Admission to this event is free and everyone is welcome to come along and see what’s cooking.
This event is happening this Thursday, September 26 at 6:30 pm at Chef Central located at 240 Route 17 North in Paramus, New Jersey, which is just down the road from North Arlington. For more information, visit the Chef Central website or call the business at 201-576-0100 during business hours.
