Monkees business heads to North Arlington area

The Monkees Convention is a fan-based celebration for all those who enjoyed the group and the music they played, and will feature a VIP brunch, vendors, and a tribute to Davy Ian Lee.

Banner printing may have been combined with poster printing to advertise and promote this convention to the residents in the community.

This fun-filled day opens to people with VIP tickets tomorrow at 10:00 am and is serving a special VIP brunch until 11:30am. There will be a wide assortment of vendor booths open to everyone, beginning at 10:00 for VIP ticket holders and 11:00 am for general admission ticket holders.

The ballroom will open at 11:30 am and feature the Blue Meanies, followed at 12:00 pm with the induction to the American Pop Music Hall of Fame. At 12:30 pm Rachel and Bobby Hart will take questions and talk about the movie.

During the afternoon, there will be a tribute to Davy Ian Lee, as well as performances from Coco and Rich Dart, the Dolenz Daughters, and another appearance from the Blue Meanies.

General admission tickets cost $55 per person in advance. The Monkees Convention will be occurring tomorrow, March 15, beginning at 11:30 am at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center located at 2 Meadowlands Plaza in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which is just a few miles from North Arlington.
