Classical fusion on the way to New Jersey

February 15, 2014 by

Black Violin Live, at the NJPAC, brings some electrifying classical music to the stage in New Jersey.

Poster printing and flyer printing might have been used to spread the word about this performance to people in this community. These classically trained musicians are sure to create a memorable show.

Black Violin’s dynamic due, Virtuoso Violinists Will B and Ken Marcus, have created a high-energy, electrifying style that will be enjoyed whether the audience’s tastes lean towards Beyonce or Bach. They perform blues, jazz, hip-hop, rock, and R&B.

Black Violin takes elements from all these styles, including classical music, to create a sound of their own. They will be joined on stage by DJ TK playing the turntables, Joe Cello playing the cello, and Beatdown playing the drums. Black Violin performed on Broadway for President Obama’s inauguration and has been inspiring children to get fired up on classical music. This event is recommended for people over the age of nine.

The cost to attend this concert is $25 per adult and $13 per child. Black Violin will be performing on Saturday, February 22, at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Victoria Theatre, located at 1 Center Street in newark, New Jersey, a short drive from North Arlington. To purchase tickets, please visit the NJPAC website or call the box office at 888-466-5722.
