Education fundraiser offers handmade arts for sale

The 17th annual Cranbury Craft Show is taking place over two days this March, and is a fundraiser for the Cranbury Education Foundation.

There are expected to be more than 100 artists and crafters selling a variety of homemade and handmade items. These will include jewelry, pottery, ceramics, paintings, clothing, and home decor. Guests can enjoy a cafe and take part in hourly raffles for gift baskets. There will also be a children’s make and take project, suggesting that visitors are sure to find something to take home that is unique or find a gift for a loved one.

Artisans can rent space at the show for $85 to $155. They must donate one sample of their work to be included in one of the raffle prizes.

The Cranbury Education Foundation raises funds to help with the upkeep of the Cranbury School. Over the years, it has raised over $100,000 to pay for such things as mobile computer labs, large musical instruments, and smart boards for 10 classrooms.

To help advertise, organizers of events like the Cranbury Craft Show often invest in services like poster and flyer printing.

The Cranbury Craft Show will be held at Cranbury School from March 8 to 9. Admission is $5, $3 for seniors and $2 for students under the age of 17. For more information, visit the Cranbury Education Foundation website.
