Chamber members to get active in Trenton this July

June 27, 2013 by

The MidJersey Chamber of Commerce is hosting two events this July which will get local businesspersons moving and active. It will also allow them to casually network with one another.

The Ed Meara Memorial Tennis Challenge will take place early on in the month and will feature women’s, men’s, and doubles/mixed competitions, as well as a final match. Players can also compete in the ‘fastest serve’ contest. All players will receive a boxed lunch and will later attend an awards dinner.

The 2013 Golf Classic is taking place on the same day as the tennis challenge. Fees will include golf and the awards dinner. Players from the Tennis Challenge will be joining those taking part in the Golf Classic for the dinner and awards presentations.

Sponsorships are available for both events. No doubt many of the sponsors will come from all over the chamber’s area of influence, including nearby Cranbury. Organizers will likely be investing in services such as banner printing to help recognize those sponsors at both events.

The Tennis Challenge will take place at the Trenton Country Club from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on July 7. Fees are $350 for each double’s team only or $800 per team, which includes dinner at the Mercer Oaks Golf Course. Tickets for the ‘fastest serve’ contest are $2 each.

The Golf Classic will be held at the Mercer Oaks Golf Course from 11:00 am – 9:00 pm on the same day. Fees are $275 per golfer.
