Annual golf tournament to benefit Cranbury parks and recreation

The 25th annual Trophy Golf Tournament is taking place in Cranbury township this August. A portion of the proceeds will go to support Cranbury Parks and Recreation.

The golf tournament is limited to 144 players, all of whom must be registered by August 2. Fees will include the golf game, a golf cart, lunch, a reception, and an awards dinner. Two contests are also included, which are ‘Closest to the Pin’ and ‘Hole in One’, and the winners will be announced during the dinner.

In addition to raising money for a worthwhile cause, the tournament can also be a great networking opportunity for local business leaders. A lot of business is done over a friendly game of golf.

The tournament also offers local businesspersons the chance to become sponsors; prices range from $100 to sponsor a hole to $3,000 to have their company logo on a souvenir item given to all players. Program ads are also available for $125 and $250.

It is likely that Cranbury printing companies will be providing the program guide that every player will receive. No doubt many of the players will be placing a new business card printing order in advance.

The Trophy Golf Tournament will take place at the Peddie Golf Course in Hightstown on August 26 beginning at 1:00 pm. Fees are $125 for individual golfers and $500 for a foursome. For more information about the tournament, to sponsor it, or to purchase program advertisements, call 609-490-7542.
