Time of year for Morristown to get crafty

October 17, 2012 by

The three-day Annual Morristown CraftMarket is one of the largest juried fine arts and craft shows in the United States. It is one of the longest-running craft markets in America and celebrates its 36th year this weekend.

A cultural and charity event, this year’s event will feature artworks from more than 25 states and several showcases featuring special displays.

The 36th Annual Morristown CraftMarket contains only limited-edition fine arts and one-of-a-kind crafts and arts. All works are in contemporary style with more than 160 renowned American artisans. There will be all types of creations, including jewelry, leather, metal, ceramics, wood, glass, and many wearable fiber arts as well.

This event is sponsored and operated by the Kiwanis Club of Randolf Township and all proceeds benefit many local charities. All entries into this craft market are judged by an expert panel of peer artists and are of exceptional quality, made in America, and will last for many years. Weekend passes are available for this event and there will be a clothing drive for the Big Brothers Big Sisters and a Fall Plant Sale.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been the choice of organizers to promote this craft market to local residents and people in surrounding communities. Admission is $10 per person per day or $12 for a weekend pass.

The 36th Annual Morristown CraftMarket will be held from Friday, October 19 to Sunday, October 21 at the National Guard Armory located at 430 Western Avenue in Morristown, New Jersey. For more details, please visit the event’s website.
