New Jersey Doctor wins personal battle with obesity

Dr. Jeffrey Levine is family physician and women’s health specialist in New Brunswick. As the American population is getting bigger, it is not unusual for him to see overweight or obese patients. However, Dr. Levine has found it difficult to advise patients to lose weight in the past as he himself was 400 pounds.

That all changed when Levine entered the reality television contest “The Biggest Loser”. Levine lost 103 pounds during his 12 week stint on the show. He then lost the additional weight at home. Like many other medical professionals Dr. Levine is now committed to teaching others how to lose weight and be healthy.

Like many other states in the nation, New Jersey has a large percentage of overweight residents. As there are serious health risks associated with obesity it is important that residents from smaller townships such are Morristown and Cherry Hill are educated on this issue.

One of the simplest ways to teach people about healthy eating and weight loss is to use printing services to create an image rich brochure. These brochures can be handed out at doctors’ offices, schools and numerous other venues. There are many associations that will find printing these brochures will help them with their business. Examples of companies that could benefit from this campaign are schools, medical professionals, sports clubs, grocery stores and not for profit organizations. Even fast food joints could print out flyers that tell their customers what the healthiest options on their menus are.
