Manalapan Girl Scouts part of hosting Breakfast with Santa

December 3, 2013 by

In just a couple of weeks, the Girl Scouts of Jersey Shore will be hosting their annual Breakfast with Santa.

Young and old Santa admirers can meet the old elf and have a scrumptious meal of sausage, pancakes, yogurt, mini bagels, fruit, hot chocolate, juice, tea, and coffee. Proceeds will go towards helping Girl Scouts in the area attend other scouting events. Holiday crafts made by Girl Scouts across the area will also be on display.

As a bonus, families can stay after the breakfast and ride through the camp in a horse-drawn carriage. If they are really lucky and the weather cooperates by sending a blanket of snow, the camp will take passengers for tours in a horse-drawn sleigh.

For those whose families have either girl scouts, or girls between the ages of 5 and 17 in their midst, this is an opportunity to give a nod to this girl-enrichment organization by advertising with poster printing from local printing companies.

To experience this holiday event, Manalapan families can take the 24-minute car ride to Shore Family Fun at Camp Sacajawea, 127 Yellow Brook Road, Farmingdale, New Jersey. It will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013. Guests should be sure to arrive by 9:30 am, and the event should be over by 12:00 noon. Registration is required, so either call Addie Wiluweit at (800) 785-2090 ext. 153 to register over the phone or register online. The cost is $21.95 per person. Children under three get in free.
