Manalapan dancers invited to Butterfly Ball

February 12, 2014 by

At the end of this month, Manalapan dancers will have the opportunity to trip the light fantastic as well as support a good cause. The Ashley Lauren Foundation will be hosting its 3rd Annual Butterfly Ball and, at little over an hour’s drive away, it should be well worth the effort to attend and support the cause at its heart.

The event will be formal attire and is being held in honor of Mary Ann Larkin and Carol Stillwell. A live auction will take place during the evening as well as a silent one. The silent auction items will include a 47-inch HDTV, golf club memberships, and a South Seas island vacation. A cocktail hour before the ball will have singer, pianist, and composer Stormin’ Norman Seldin and his dueling pianos as entertainment. Dinner and dancing will follow, with a high-energy ten-piece orchestra named Mack and Soul providing the evening’s music, all of which offers plenty to highlight on any promotional poster printing.

The Butterfly Ball is the flagship charity benefit to further the Ashley Lauren Foundation’s cause to provide direct material and financial assistance to children affected by cancer, and to their families.

This glamorous evening will take place Saturday, February 22, starting at 6:30 pm at Ocean Place Resort and Spa, One Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, New Jersey.
