Corn maze design revealed at Happy Day Farm
September 6, 2013 by Sarah
Happy Day Farm in Manalapan, known for its corn maze and other fun-filled activities for children and their parents, recently announced that it has a new custom-cut corn maze for the 2013 season. No doubt organizers are using banner printing throughout the town to attract as many families as possible to participate in the corn maze and other events and programs.
The theme of the corn maze this year is ‘The Big Game’ so as to get people excited about Super Bowl XLVIII that will be hosted in East Rutherford at the MetLife Stadium on February 2. When viewed from a helicopter, the maze shows the logo of the Super Bowl and depicts a bridge between New Jersey and New York.
The 10-acre corn field has a different design every year and is created by artists from Utah. Last year, the maze featured the faces of Jersey folk Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Pesce, and Frank Sinatra.
In addition to the maze, the farm offers a variety of fun fall activities that include a petting zoo, pig races, pedal carts for children aged three and older, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, pie eating contests, pony and hay rides, a corn cannon, and pumpkin blasters. This year, the farm is adding a few new attractions, such as a spider web and a jumping pillow.
According to P.J. Mastalski, Manager of Happy Day Farm, it is a very unique place and offers many activities for both young and old alike.
