Bret Michaels to perform at Readington balloon festival

Rock star Bret Michaels has announced that he will be performing on July 29 at the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Readington.

Michaels first rose to fame in the 1980s as the lead singer of rock band Poison. Since then, he has attracted media attention for his personal relationships and appearances on reality television.

Michaels, who suffers from type 1 diabetes, made an effort to raise funds and awareness regarding his affliction by appearing on the NBC show “The Celebrity Apprentice” in 2010. During his stint on the show, he raised over $640,000 for the American Diabetes Association. As well as promoting his cause, his appearance has also expanded his fanbase to a larger demographic; whereas before he was little-known outside of rock music circles, children and families are now fans of the star. As a result, people may be willing to travel from towns like Manalapan to see him in concert this July.

Organizers of the festival are thrilled to have Michaels performing due to his commitment to philanthropy. However, in order for the festival to be successful, there will need to be a large number of attendees. Organizers may want to consider advertizing the concert before the event takes place. One of the most affordable ways to do this is to hire a printing company to carry out brochure, flyer, and poster printing. This promotional material can be distributed throughout the state to make fans of Bret Michaels aware that a concert is taking place. Those who live outside of Readington can then make arrangements to make the trip to the festival.
