Ballooning Top Activity in New Jersey in 2012

The magazine New Jersey Monthly just released its list of 52 things that all New Jersey residents must experience in 2012. The article contains activities for people from towns like Livingston and Cherry Hill. At the top of the list is ballooning.

The Quick Chek Festival of Ballooning is the largest summer balloon festival in North America. Organizers of the event are expecting more than 125 colorful hot-air balloons to take to the air in 2012. The festival will be held in July.

Companies who promote activities that have appeared on this list have gained themselves a tremendous marketing advantage. People who were unaware of these activities are now looking for places to purchase them. There are a few ways that businesses can profit from this promotion. Firstly they can use printing services to add phrases like “featured in the New Jersey Monthly” to their current promotional material. Another option is to create discounts and deals for people who have read the magazine. These deals can be distributed via flyers, brochures or newspaper advertisements. Some companies may want to create a relationship with magazines that have featured them in the past. A great way to do this is to hold a competition that gives away an experience to a lucky reader. All of these marketing methods will gain more exposure for the companies that use them. Ideally this will result in a spike in sales. Businesses can also keep the details of interested customers so that they can send them promotional material in the future.
