Room at the inn for hauntingly good party

October 20, 2012 by

Guests are invited to join author, ghost hunter, and medium Craig McManus for a horrifyingly exciting party at the Hohokus Inn and Tavern this year. The celebration will be in the form of a ghost lecture and cocktail party. McManus has been writing about haunting and ghosts for many years, publishing four books based on this subject and working as a psychic medium on a full-time basis.

Once guests arrive, a scrumptious hot and cold hors d’oeuvres buffet will be served as McManus starts the evening off with a channeling demonstration in the Hermitage and Zabrickie rooms. As guests enjoy the nibbles, a complimentary glass of beer, wine, or a cocktail will be served.

When cocktail hour ends, guests will enjoy a side lecture in the Chateau room, where a paranormal journey will unfold about many historic haunts, with one being the Inn. Once this presentation ends, guests will enjoy a wonderful Viennese dessert selection followed by a book signing. This event is best for adults over the age of 16. Seating is limited, so advanced reservations are required. Guests are reminded that costumes for this evening are encouraged.

Flyer printing and poster printing using local print companies were probably used to advertise and promote this event to residents of the community and surrounding areas. Tickets are $60 per person, plus gratuity and taxes. The Historic Haunts at the Inn will be happening on Tuesday, October 30, beginning at 7:00 pm.
