Hohokus kids ready for fitness challenge
December 9, 2012 by Mark
The Fit Kidz Challenge Class is being offered by American Eagle Martial Arts Academy and is designed to create a healthy outlook and lifestyle for children to follow as they travel through their lives. This course will benefit the children by providing body awareness and flexibility, core strength, athletic ability, confidence, and cardiovascular fitness.
During this workout session, various specially designed strategies and training methods, all aimed at children, will assist the kids to become more aware of their overall body fitness and emotional stability. The 30-minute class is a portion of the Children’s Marital Arts program, but is being provided without the children having to join the school. At this session, children will be instructed in sport and defensive applications using grappling and striking, blocking, and kicking. Children will learn a number of positions and moves to assist them with ground and standing situations. These defensive maneuvers will assist the children in any position that may require some form of response.
Poster printing and digital flyer printing were most likely used to promote this unique class to the children of the area and the surrounding region. There is no fee and all children ages 6 – 12 are welcome. The Fit Kidz Challenge Class will be happening on Tuesday, December 18, from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the American Eagle Martial Arts Academy in Hohokus, New Jersey.
