Hohokus Inn announces events for October

October 2, 2013 by

The Hohokus Inn and Tavern recently announced two special events for October. No doubt flyer printing is being used by the Inn to print and distribute flyers around town to announce these happenings to the community.

First up, the Cellar Club will be held serving complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wines representing ‘A Taste of South Africa’ on Wednesday, September 16. The tasting will be held in the informal setting of the Inn’s library and will include the South African wines Simonsig Chenin Blanc, Indaba Chardonnay, Simonsig Pinotage, and Rust en Vrede Merlot. There is a cost of $25 per person and reservations need to be made in advance.

Then, two weeks later, October 30 will see Murder On Cue Mysteries present the Horror Awards; a spoof of the various award shows held in Hollywood. Guests at the event will become producers, directors, movie stars, agents and others on the Hollywood scene in a tribute to the horror movies produced in the Florida city. The show promises to be one that mixes comedy with solving a mystery and should be an entertaining night for all. The cost $74 per person includes dinner and the show.

In addition to these special events, the Inn holds events during the week. Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm there is a buffet brunch; on Tuesdays seniors get discounts on lunch and dinner; Thursday is Ladies Night with select discounts, and Happy Hour is held Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
