Grand opening of Petco to be held in Hamilton
September 16, 2013 by Max
Petco, a retailer of animal supplies, recently announced that it will be holding a grand opening of its new store in Hamilton, located at the Hamilton Plaza on Route 33, in a couple of weeks. No doubt the store is using banner printing throughout the shopping area to let animal-lovers and the community in general know of this special occasion.
According to a press release from Petco, things will start off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by giving a $10 Petco gift to the first 100 customers who arrive at the store and are enrolled in the company’s Pals Reward program. Other events at the ceremony will include pet adoptions from animal rescue partners, discounted services and giveaways.
The first 50 Pals Reward customers who arrive beginning at 9:00 am will receive a free Petco tote bag.
Those who adopt pets over the weekend will receive a Think Adoption First Care and Savings booklet and also get half off services and supplies for their new pet. This offer is available at any Petco location as long as proof of adoption is brought to that location.
The featured offerings in the new store will include a variety of options for pet food, including natural, organic, and raw food selections. The store will also host additional opportunities to adopt pets throughout the year so owners can be paired with rescue animals.
Educational forums called Meet the Critters will be hosted every month for families by Petco workers and are free for all who attend.
The grand opening is to be held on Saturday, September 28.
