Santa holiday events to be hosted by ShopRite stores

The ShopRite chain of supermarkets in Burlington County is planning three holiday events and festivities for parents and children in the upcoming weeks, with all proceeds of the events being donated to the ‘Give A Christmas Fund’. The Hainesport, New Jersey store will be hosting an annual Breakfast with Santa from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on December 8 and is no doubt using poster printing throughout the store to publicize the event to its customers.

The two other stores participating in the events are the Delran supermarket and the Cinnaminson supermarket. The Delran store will also be hosting a Breakfast with Santa from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on December 15, and the Cinnaminson store will be hosting a Lunch with Santa on the same day from noon to 1:00 pm. All three events have an admittance fee of $5 per person, which can be purchased in advance.

Each event includes photographs with Santa, a buffet breakfast or lunch, songs, crafts, and other festivities. According to one employee of the store, Louise Owens, people who attend the events usually get their money’s worth. In addition, ShopRite donates all the food supplies and other products so that all the other money that is collected can go directly to the ‘Give A Christmas Fund’, which then distributes the money it collects to families in the local area who are in need and have previously sent letters requesting assistance with a description of the family’s hardship to the Fund’s location in Willingboro, New Jersey.
