Flemington natural foods store opens second location

January 8, 2013 by

The town of Flemington, New Jersey, has been home to Basil Bandwagon Natural Foods for almost 20 years and now the natural foods supermarket is celebrating nearly two decades of success by opening a second location, which will be in Clinton and will represent a smaller version of the first store.

As the month of January gets going, interest in healthy foods tends to spike as people examine their eating habits and make resolutions. Plans for the new store have been in place since August, however, when Ralph Celebre, the store’s owner and his employees began adding shelving and refrigeration to the space. The store has also been training a new staff since that time.

Basil Bandwagon Natural Foods in Flemington offers a mix of locally grown and distributed organic produce, as well as prepared soups and healthy dishes. The store also sells vitamin supplements and personal care products. The new location will offer a similar selection of products.

There is no firm date yet set for the grand opening of the new Basil Bandwagon, although Celebre estimates that it will be within the next few weeks. To announce the grand opening, the store could make use of Flemington banner printing. A large banner could help to let shoppers know the specific dates. The new store will be located at 38 Old Route 22, in a shopping plaza next to Tirpok Cleaners. The store will occupy the space once held by Sunflower Seeds.
