Programs for children being offered at Fairlawn Library
January 28, 2012 by Mark
The Fairlawn Public Library is accepting registration for preschool programming until the 15th of January, 2012. All participants must fulfill age requirements and be residents of Fairlawn, New Jersey.
Parents will be pleased to hear that there are a wide variety of activities on offer. For example the library is presenting a free family concert for both parents and children on the 21st of January. Those who are looking for ways to socialize with other parents and children can participate in the preschool playgroup. Other activities include art classes, Mother Goose Time, stores, songs, finger plays, crafts and story reading. There is also a reading program that parents can also participate in. These programs are designed for children aged 0 to 5.
These programs are beneficial to both parents and children. Kids will find the sessions both fun and educational. They will also be able to make friends their own age. Parents will also be able to socially interact with others. Many first time parents find it useful to have friendships with people who have children around the same age as theirs.
As these programs are not advertised heavily, the turnout to library events tends to be poor. Due to this, the library should consider investing in some simple printing services. Distributing flyers and brochures locally will increase attendance at these programs. As the library is spending considerable time and resources on these workshops, it is important to have as many participants as they can accommodate.
