East Brunswick residents invited to light show spectacle

This winter holiday season, a huge animated light show has been planned for the East Brunswick area that will light up the night in support of children fighting cancer.

The spectacle has been designed to be a walkthrough event, with a musical animated light show, ice sculpting, a bonfire with s’mores, a raffle for an exotic car, and much more.

Food trucks will be on hand serving hot food, and when it is time to warm up, vendors will have displays set up to browse through in heated tents. The kids can enjoy playing in the two-storey tall igloo and having their faces painted using glow in the dark face paint, and a professional photographer will be available to take pictures. Themed banners can be printed for an event such as this.

The whole display is three stories tall and more than 110 feet long. There are thousands of twinkling lights, with some even able to change color as the show goes on. Money raised through the event will be donated to the Hugs for Brady Foundation, which supports research into pediatric cancers.

The Hugs for Brady Holiday Light Show will be held over 35 nights, starting on November 25th, at DeVry University in North Brunswick. Tickets start at $12.50 for adults and $10 for children. Further details and an opportunity to purchase passes are available on its Eventbrite listing.
