August 1, 2012 by James
Clifton residents have at least a couple of chances to be active within the community with the Signature Roles Film Festival coming up as well as the Montclair’s Farmers Market. With both of these events being held at regular weekly intervals, August is already shaping up to be an unusually lively month for those residing in and around this community.
Movie lovers will have multiple opportunities to take in the classics with the Montclair Public Library hosting an ongoing Signature Roles Film Festival. Free for members of the public and scheduled to take place on the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd, and 29th of the month, the line-up certainly looks fantastic. Featuring several iconic actresses in Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth, Katherine Hepburn, and Greta Garbo, these afternoon showings are going to be a trip down memory lane for sure.
Starting at 1:00 pm and going from there, Clifton residents with an interest in attending are certainly free to do so.
As far as bringing providers and consumers together go, the Montclair’s Farmers Market meets expectations and then some. Also free for shoppers, baked items, cheese, fruits, vegetables, meat, coffee, honey, and seafood are just a few of the products that will be available for sale. Opening fairly early with the market day taking place August 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th, buyers will be able to capitalize on fabulous deals while sellers will be getting a legitimate opportunity to put their products in front of people.
For Farmers Market sellers, the services of banner printers can go a long way here.
