Chamber to host workshop June 20th

Clifton-based professionals who don’t mind a few extra minutes of travelling have a number of options available to them through the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce this month.
One more recent example is the “Multi-Chamber Networking Night” that was held June 5th. Beginning at 5:30 pm and lasting for about 2 hours, there’s no question that this event was a productive one for those who attended. Hosted by Strategic Micro Systems, the evening included refreshments as well as a bit of fun with raffle prizes included as part of the evening. In light of the fact that this completely free event was organized with the needs of busy professionals in mind, printing companies probably found themselves doing more business card printing than usual.
Open to both members and non-members as long as they pre-registered, the contacts made at this event were well worth the trip to Parsippany.
All of that said, those who weren’t able to make this networking event are still in luck. Later in the month, the chamber will be hosting “Finding a Job in a Changing Marketplace” on the 20th. Also free for both chamber members and guests, this is a great opportunity for business owners and recent grads to hear some in-depth discussion of what’s been happening to the job market in recent times. Between the lunch and the networking session, people stand to benefit from putting in an appearance here. With the event taking place in Woodland Park there’s no denying how convenient the location is to Clifton residents.
