Spring Street and Craft Fair returns to West Orange

April 27, 2013 by

The Downtown West Orange Alliance Spring Street and Craft Fair will take place again in about a month’s time.

The fair will feature over 100 artists, crafters, and commercial vendors. In addition, there will be plenty of food, live musical entertainment, children’s activities, and street performers.

Approximately 12,000 people are expected to attend this popular annual event, with vendors on hand selling a wide variety of items, including handmade jewelry, ceramics, pottery, paintings, household décor, and even clothing. Non-profit organizations will also be providing information to the public to let them know exactly what their role is in the community. There should be something at the fair that will appear to every member of the family.

Vendors who are residents of West Orange can rent booth space from prices ranging between $35 for a non-profit organization and $200 for a food vendor. Those who come from neighboring towns will pay between $50 and $400 for booth space.

No doubt vendors from all over, including nearby Bloomfield, will want to showcase their art works and products. Many will likely be working with local printing companies to prepare for the fair, perhaps getting their digital business cards ready, or ordering a batch of postcard printing, since postcards can double us as business cards.

The 9th annual Spring Street and Craft Fair will take place in West Orange on May 26 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Admission is free. More information can be obtained by calling 973-325-4109.
