Plans for small business success lain in workshop
September 28, 2012 by Sarah
The Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce is presenting a small business workshop entitled ‘Planning your company’s success’ and those attending will receive advice on planning in their small business from a panel of experts, learning how best to manage their business and how to improve its possibilities and potential for success.
The panel will be moderated by James Beam, while panelists will be Jonathan Lander of PNC Bank, Renee C. Vidal of Flaster/Greenberg, Teresa Coaxum of the United States Small Business Administration, Erin Lieber of AmeriHealth NJ, and Beverly Volpe of the Simon Public Relations Group. It is likely that there will be a chance to ask questions of the panel.
This event will also be an excellent networking opportunity for business brains and entrepreneurs from the area, including nearby Berlin. Those planning to attend should consider arranging for business card printing services in advance, making sure that they have enough and that all information is up-to-date. Also, while there may not be a lot of time for each businessperson to discuss their ideas, there will definitely be time for an elevator speech between 30 and 60 seconds to get the main ideas of the business and the business leader across to the person with whom they are in discussion.
The workshop will take place at the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees on October 12 from 8:00 am – 11:00 am. Tickets are $20 in advance for chamber members, $30 at the door for members, and $45 for non-members in advance only. For more information, call 856-424-7776.
