On Sunday, May 13th, the Health System and KHFM 95.5 Radio will be sponsoring “A Mother’s Day Concert with the NM Philharmonic Orchestra” at the ABQ BioPark Zoo located at 903 Tenth Street SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This event will start at 2:00 pm and run for one hour.
This Mother’s Day, bring mom out for some fantastic music with the New Mexico Philharmonic Orchestra, who will be performing “Orchestra Spectaculars” with conductor Stuart Chafetz, featuring music by Sousa, Bizet, Dvorak, Hayman, Borodin, and Korsakov. This event will take place in a green space within the zoo, so guests are advised to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. This is an alcohol free event, as no glass is allowed within the zoo’s grounds. There will be food and beverages available.
Meanwhile, the International Migratory Bird Day will also be taking place from 10am to 2pm and this feature can be viewed with the price of admission. A combination ticket can also be purchased, so that guests can also take in the Garden’s Bonsai Show as well, which will be running from 9am to 5pm. Guests are invited to bring Mom out and make a day of it.
This event has probably been advertised using flyer printing or brochure printing to ensure all families in the area are aware of it.
