Concert springs up in Albuquerque
April 2, 2014 by Mark
Stu MacAskie’s Trio will be welcoming in spring with their special eclectic contemporary and classic jazz numbers. They feature a number of arrangements and original compositions designed to have the audience tapping along with the band.
The marketing specialist most likely chose poster printing to promote this eclectic concert to people who live in the community, as well as those who live in the nearby area.
The concert is presented by the ABQ RIDE and brings to the sounds of New York to New Mexico. Guests are invited to bring along their lunch and eat while they listen.
MacAskie, one of New Mexico’s most successful jazz musician, is also one of the busiest in this region. An accomplished composer, producer, and band leader, he also writes, teaches, and performs. MacAskie moved to New Mexico in 1997 after establishing himself in the New York jazz world.
This is a free concert and all are welcome to come out with their lunch and enjoy the performing. Spring Time Jazz with the Stu MacASkie Trio will take place on Thursday, April 10, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Fountain Area – Alvarado Transportation Center, which is located at the corner of 1st and Central Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
