Sugarbush ready for sweet season

February 27, 2013 by

Maple syrup sugaring season is coming up shortly and one of the most well-known festivals in Vermont is the Sugaring Time Festival. It is a chance to celebrate one of the area’s most important natural products.

There will be plenty of activities to take part in during the festival. The Scavenger Hunt will send visitors off to look for Vermont maple syrup nips; which will then be redeemed at either Lincoln Peak or Mount Ellen in exchange for prizes. There will be maple syrup-inspired foods such as maple baked beans and maple pulled pork, special drinks in Timbers Restaurant, live musical entertainment and children’s activities such as balloon sculptures and face painting. A Vermont mini farmer’s market will also be taking place during the day where guests can purchase fresh produce to take home. It sounds like it will be an excellent way to celebrate the maple syrup sugaring season with the family.

The festival is sure to draw visitors from all over the area, including Hinesburg. It’s likely the organizers will be working closely with local print companies to prepare for the festival and to let those in the community know it is coming up. Flyers are one of the most effective ways to market upcoming events because they are inexpensive and can be distributed in a number of different ways.

The Sugaring Time Festival will take place in various venues throughout the Sugarbush Resort in Warren on March 16 from 9:00 am – 8:30 pm. For more information call 1-802-583-6300.
