New artists and craftspeople paint the picture in October show

The 32nd Essex Fall Craft and Fine Art Show will take place at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, with tickets priced at $8 for the three days and children 12 and under admitted free.

Those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf. There will also be a craft raffle that will raise funds for a local non-profit organization. Artists and crafters will be selling a wide variety of items, such as stained glass, jewelry, candles, pottery, greeting cards, and food items such as spices and jams. The artisans will also be giving demonstrations throughout the show.

Artists and craftspeople will be coming from all over the region to display and sell their works at the show, including nearby Hinesburg in all likelihood. Since it is their responsibility to set up their booths, no doubt many of the artisans will be relying on local printing companies for services such as banner printing and postcard printing. Many artisans provide free postcards to those who purchase their works, and they usually work like business cards with contact information on the back and a sample of the artwork on the front. These postcards often end up framed or on refrigerator doors.

The show is set to take place October 26 – 28. Those who are selling their handmade and unique items at the show can rent a space in a variety of sizes, ranging in price from £525 to £1,025.
