Networking season to make a stylish start

The Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce holds regular networking events for its members and other business leaders in the Burlington area. The first networking event for 2013 will be the Winter White Celebration.

Networking is one of the most important things when doing business – it is the way to help growa businesses and to increase awareness of a business and how it fits in with the business culture.

Those who plan to attend are asked to wear something white to the event, and those who do will be entered into a special prize draw. The celebration will also feature free Tarot card readings from Thea Lewis, two beverages, appetizers, dessert, and door prizes. It is all set up to be a fun way to start off the 2013 networking season.

Chamber members and non-member business owners from all over the region, including nearby Hinesburg, will no doubt be planning to attend this networking event. Many of those will be placing a new business card printing order before attending – they will want to ensure all their contact information is up-to-date and that they have enough cards and are ready to start off the networking season by being prepared.

The Winter White Celebration will take place at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center on January 17 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Tickets for members are $10 in advance or $14 at the door, while tickets for non-members are $20. For more information, call 802-863-3489.
