Two family-friendly events coming up in July

North Conway residents have several events to watch for this summer, with the Mt. Washington Valley Children’s Museum hosting a “Day Out with Thomas” as well as the Arts Jubilee Concert taking place in early July.
The first of these events is a “Day Out with Thomas”. Through this fun-filled day, the Mt. Washington Valley Children’s Museum is giving kids a chance to meet the star of a much-loved children’s show in “Thomas the Tank.” Debuting on July 6, this looks to be an all-day affair with things opening up at 8:30 am and concluding at around 4:30 pm. With stories, music, a ride with Thomas, and even an opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt, there are a number of activities taking place here that kids will love. Priced at $18 and open to those aged two and up, this is one the whole family can enjoy.
Less than a week later, on July 12, the Arts Jubilee Summer Concert Series will be taking place. There is likely been at least some flyer printing making the rounds here but this is in many respects the definition of what a family event stands for. Being held at the Cranmore Resort Ski Area, attendees can anticipate both an earlier concert at 6:00 pm followed by the main concert at 7:00 pm. While refreshments will be available for purchase, organizers have welcomed visitors to bring their own food and drinks.
With the turnout for the Summer Concert Series expected to number over 7,000, the atmosphere will greatly enhance this event.
