This evening, ‘Exotic Destinations: An Insider’s Guide to Russia Today’ will provide people wishing to visit this interest country with an insider’s guide to the culture, history, family life, and other aspects found in Russia today. During the lecture, Maria Forbes, an award winning artist and historian who guides people on cultural tours in her homeland each year, will spend time highlighting this country’s family life, entertainment, humor, religion, history, politics, and culture. Forbes and the Nashua Public Library are dedicated to ensuring the accuracy of the information being provided on the largest country in the world.
With February 7 seeing the opening of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, now is the perfect time to get a behind the scenes look at this country. With the winter weather, participants are reminded to call ahead to confirm the dates, times, locations, and other details on lectures and courses being offered. After the lecture, there will be time set aside to meet and discuss more with the presenter.
Admission to this event is free and everyone is welcome, although advance registration is recommended. The session will be held tonight from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Nashua Public Library located at 2 Court Street in Nashua, New Hampshire.
