Candidates give their take on issues

Nashua residents are getting a unique chance to be politically engaged through the nearby Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, while those who are looking for a fun way to spend the evening have the option of enjoying “dinner and a show” locally.

Between the media and the work that print companies typically put into printing services like flyer printing and postcard printing, residents usually have no problems recognizing when election time is upon them. Even so, knowing who to vote for is another story altogether. Although it is not unusual to see direct packages providing basic explanations, some may prefer to get information “straight from the horse’s mouth.” Through its ‘Who Will Be Our Next Governor’ series, the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce will be giving people an opportunity to hear the candidates discuss issues in-depth.

According to the calendar, the next installment of “Who Will Be Our Next Governor” is going to be held on July 24. Featuring candidate Maggie Hassan, this one starts in the evening at 7:00 pm and concludes at 8:00 pm. The following week, on July 31, Bill Kennedy will be the highlighted guest speaker. Being hosted through the combined efforts of the Area News Group, the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, Rockingham Park, and the Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce, this free event is going to be nothing less than informative.

Meanwhile for those who are interested in having a good time right here in Nashua, the next “Downtown Dinner & Movie” is taking place on July 25. Priced at $10, this is another event to consider.
