Harvest Festival to whoosh in this weekend
October 26, 2012 by Sarah
Worcester’s annual Harvest Festival honors the passing of fall and will no doubt keep the entire family amused this weekend. There will be a number of Halloween-themed special events happening as well, including a costume parade, a Halloween party, and a fantastically scary haunted house.
This year’s festival will include ‘Breakfast with the Witches’, which will lead into the selling of hand-knitted goods with their own special fall flair, as well as the selling of candied apples and pies. There will also be a haunted house with all kinds of eerie and spooky games, as well as a number of vendors selling delicious apple pies, hot dogs, and fried dough.
After the festival, which lasts most of the day, the haunted house and Halloween party will begin and run from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will be prizes presented during this time as well. All tickets must be purchased in advance of the event and the group is still seeking knitted goods to add to the impressive collection it has received so far. This is a fun and active Halloween festival that is sure to entertain all.
Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to notify the residents of this community, as well as residents in surrounding communities. Admission is $5 per person in advance for the event which takes place tomorrow, October 27, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Saint Ann Parish located at 24 Mulberry Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.
