Crafts comes in time for Christmas in Worcester

November 29, 2013 by

The Worcester Center for Crafts presents the Holiday Festival of Crafts, which is sponsored by UniBank and features a number of quality handmade products and a seasonal shopping opportunity getting underway today. No doubt flyer printing was one of the tools used to advertise this festival to people in the region.

This is the 31st year in which the event has taken place in the community, and more than 60 artisans will be present from throughout the New England area to showcase their artistic talents and skills. This year’s showcase includes handcrafted works by expert artisans featuring jewelry, fiber arts, fashion, metalwork, pottery, and fine arts, and other talents. The craft fair should be perfect for the whole family and will provide people with the opportunity to purchase some top class Christmas gifts, and cross a few of the more tricky names off their shopping list. There will be a café, Bushel N Peck, where people can enjoy some light refreshments and seasonal holiday treats.

The cost to attend the festival is $5 per person and vehicles can be left free of charge in the center’s parking lot. The Holiday Festival of Crafts will be happening from today, November 29, until Sunday, December 1 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The place to be is the Worcester Center for Crafts. To find out more about this festival, log on to the organizers’ website or call their office at 508-753-8183 during normal business hours.
